Bold Design: A Showerhead Faucet

 Permanent link

Showerhead Sink Faucet
Big enough to wash Shaquille O'Neal's hands. Stylish enough for Timothy Gunn's hands.

A recent trip to Sushi Wabi in Chicago led to the following things:

  • The ordering of several dragon rolls.
  • Overhearing several inappropriate conversations due to the restaurant's tight seating arrangement.
  • Washing my hands with a rain can showerhead.

As you can see from the photo, a showerhead is used instead of sink faucet. After using it, I can’t say a showerhead is any more functional than a normal sink faucet, but if you’re going for style points, or “I have to have something totally different than all of my friends” points, this is something to consider.

This is niche, and I really like the design:)
I am sure my kids will love it.

One suggestion is the sink need to be deep enough to prevent water splitting out

Well, it's definitely different.... I'm not too crazy about the backsplash either.

I'm not wild about this unless your aim is to start a conversation.

It seems like it takes away some valuable mirror space on the wall. If there is one there forget about leaning towards it.
