Before we begin the links of the week, a few quick announcements:
- iBaths just launched a new slide show featuring 2009’s NKBA award-winning bathrooms. Check out the great photos (like the one above), and stay tuned for Friday’s Five Questions with Cheryl Kees Clendenon, a Florida designer who won multiple NKBA awards this year. We’ll talk about a variety of topics, including designing a small bathroom.
- Over on Kitchens.com, a new outdoor kitchen section and photo gallery were recently added. Make sure to check them out if you’re configuring the perfect setup for all your backyard barbecues this summer.
Onto the links, and as always, if you have links you want to share email me at editor@ibaths.com

1. Here’s a lovely French country bathroom (pictured above), replete with distressed furniture and an antique style sink and faucet. I like the how the pink floor mat provides an injection of color. [via prettylittleworldfashion.blogspot.com]
2. Moving on from country to modern, this bathroom from a SF home does a great job of bringing the outdoors inside via a clear glass wall. I also like the open shower which keeps the space feeling airy. (via furniturestoreblog.com)
3. Kitchen and Bath Design News writes about the continuing trend of aging-in-place (or Universal) design. “Additional design suggestions include ergonomic knobs/pulls, wider doorways/pathways between cabinets, no thresholds or level changes in flooring, and enhanced lighting.” (via Kitchen and Bath Design News)
4. Finally, wallpaper! Or more precisely, wingbud wallpaper. Don’t you think this would look good in the right bathroom? (via Design Sponge)
