While any natural stone tile will technically bring an outside element into your bathroom, pebble tiles create a look more readily associated with the outdoors than a stone that has been excavated from the earth. Many of Island Stone’s pebble tiles have a distinct seashore quality that help make the bathroom feel like a beach. Pebble tiles allow you to choose pebbles in similar size and color, or choose varied pebble shapes and colors.
Tip: Using a stone-enhancing sealer is recommended by Island Stone. An enhancing sealer repels water from the stones (as do all sealers) and also enhances the color of the stones. However, proceed with caution. You may find the enhanced colors to be too bold and vivid, and once you’ve enhanced a tile’s color, you cannot reverse the process.
