Travertine’s color palette ranges from beige to chocolate. It’s usually tumbled, although some travertine can hold a honed or even a glossy look. Travertine is a form of limestone with small holes on its surface—which are sometimes filled with resin by the manufacturer—and it should be sealed. The 2½-inch by 4¼-inch travertine tiles pictured above are part of Arizona Tile’s Troy collection.
