Utility cabinets, medicine cabinets and standard wall cabinets can all be used in the bathroom for storage.
Utility cabinets
These cabinets are usually between 84 and 96 inches in height, and 21 inches in depth. If your bathroom lacks a closet, these cabinets are good spots for storing towels and any larger objects that might not fit in other storage areas. Utility cabinets will usually have two or three doors and compartments.
Wall cabinets
Wall cabinets in the bathroom will usually hang near the vanity area or over the toilet. A standard wall cabinet for the bathroom will be 30 inches high, between 12 and 24 inches wide, and 9 inches deep.
Medicine Cabinets
Standard sizes for medicine cabinets are 4 to 5 inches in depth and 24 inches or more in height.
Base Cabinets
These cabinets can be placed adjacent to your vanity and can have several configurations, including an all-drawer base cabinet or one drawer and one cabinet door.
Base cabinets are typically 21 inches in depth to match most vanities. Their width can range from 12 to 24 inches, and their height will be similar to what is offered for vanities.
